I am a nationally accredited mediator, accredited family dispute resolution practitioner and lawyer.

I am committed to facilitating productive discussion with a view to helping parties in dispute, problem solve in a safe environment.

In my practice you will work with me from the initial engagement through to completion.

I have been a lawyer for more than 30 years and for the last 20 years of practice I have developed my dispute resolution practice so much so that I spend the majority of my time now in dispute resolution.

I provide face to face mediation (with shuttle if required) as well as mediation via electronic means through Zoom and or Microsoft Teams or Telephone.

My profile is set out here for your information

  1. Mediations in family law (the majority of my work), workplace, and estates disputes.

  2.  Utilising face to face methods with shuttle (if required), electronic means such as zoom and or Microsoft teams and telephone. I work with lawyers in mediations and without them where parties are not legally represented;

  3. Working for the private legal profession with parties referred to me by the legal profession, other mediators, the Legal Aid Commission of NSW, and I work with members of the community who contact me on a private basis to assist with mediation. I am referred mediations from the Law Society of NSW from time to time;

  4.  I have been mediating for the last 20 years as a private dispute resolution practitioner while operating my legal practice and working with complex issues involving high conflict and parties with special needs and culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Matters often involve drugs and alcohol, family violence and mental health issues. The property matters range from minimal to high-net-worth cases.

  5.  I worked as a Judicial Registrar (Sessional) with the Federal Circuit Family Court of Australia on a contract basis in property and parenting dispute resolution work (March 2021-May 2022)- property conciliations and parenting mediations again with complex issues similar to those outlined above.

  6.  I have worked predominately in family law, workplace and industrial relations and estates litigation for more than 30 years as a lawyer. I am retained on a part time basis as a Consultant Lawyer working in family and workplace law.
